Dr. Jeff Sayler received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of South Dakota in 1986, and he earned his Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon in 1990. Dr. Jeff is a native from Menno South Dakota and is currently a member of the South Dakota Optometric Society and American Optometric Association. Dr Sayler is on the Medical advisory board for the South Dakota Lions Eye Bank and also a Medical advisor for Head Start and Early Child Hood Development.
Dr Jeff was born and raised on a small farm near Menno and still is very active in helping his father with seasonal farming activities. Dr Sayler is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve and is assigned to the United States Air Force Academy as South Dakota’s Director of Liaisons.
Dr. Sayler started his Optometry career as an Army Optometrist in Alaska. Dr Jeff’s vision of a private family owned business became reality in 2003 when he opened Sioux Falls Family Vision. When Dr Jeff is not involved in patient care you can find him golfing, fishing or hunting. He loves the outdoors, traveling and has a lovely family. “My wife Vickey is a huge part of my success” so much that she is the office book keeper. Dr. Jeff has two great kids, Josh attends the Art Institute in Denver, Colorado and Stefannie is attending South Dakota State University.
